adult property

we are a 21+ adult property offering a retreat space, quiet pool + spa and 24hr poolside bar, which are not geared toward children. many of our guests are coming for a quiet, zen-like experience away from their own children. if you are looking for a more family-focused property, please let us know, and we can happily provide some suggestions in our area.

dog policy

*** not all rooms are dog friendly. dog accommodations MUST be pre-arranged by telephone or email. fees start at $75 for 1 night, $125 for 2 nights, and $150 for 3 or more nights. if you arrive with a dog and have not pre-arranged, we may or may not be able to honor your booking. due to the intimacy of our property and respect for all guests, dogs are not allowed on holiday weekends. dogs must be with their owner at all times and are not allowed to be left in the room if owners leave the property. please plan accordingly if you bring your pup.

cancellation policy

boon requires a 14-day cancellation period due to the seasonal nature of the area.

outside of 14 days prior to arrival: a 1 (one) time date change may be allowed, based on availability.* after a 1 (one) time move has been made, a cancellation at any time will forfeit the deposit. if the reservation must be cancelled outright, outside of 14 days, we are able to offer a full refund voucher to be used towards a return visit within 1 (one) year from your original checkout date, or issue a refund of the deposit paid less a $40 credit card processing fee.
*in some instances a rate difference will apply. if the new rate is lower, the balance will carry over to your new reservation. if the new fare is higher, the difference will be collected at the time of the change.

within 14 days of arrival: a cancellation made will forfeit the full amount of the deposit and taxes paid.

within 48 hours of arrival: will be charged 100% of total booking.

no shows: will be charged 100% of total booking.

discounted stays: are non-refundable.

all reservations are subject to minimum stay requirements unless otherwise arranged at time of booking.

spa cancellation policy

if you need to cancel or reschedule spa treatments, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. we are not able to accommodate any time or date changes within 48 hours of treatment start time.

outside 48 hours: a credit card processing fee of 7% will be retained for cancellations made outside of 48 hours.

within 48 hours: guest will be responsible for paying 100% of treatment(s).

same day cancellations + no shows: guest will be responsible for the full amount plus 20% gratuity for the therapist.

discounted treatments: are non-refundable

discount code policies

promotional codes are only available for reservations booked directly with the hotel, are within the booking date range and stay, they cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Some blackout dates apply and the offer is available for new reservations only. Once booked, the reservation is non-cancellable and non-refundable.

good neighbor policies

no unregistered guests on property. quiet hours are 10:00 pm – 8:00 am. should any hotel guests be unreasonably disturbed by a party, due to excessive noise or other extreme circumstances, the offending party may be charged for the other guests inconvenience. we want everyone to love it here. if you are not complying with hotel policy or requests from management to behave, boon reserves the right to ask you to leave and your booking will be non-refundable. don’t be that guy.

pool + hot tub rules

to ensure all guests visiting boon are safe + comfortable + relaxed, we have following rules for our pool + hot tub area – no music other than ours, no smoking (even vape), no floaties + inflatables or noodles, no outside beverages unless it is wine/beer purchased while tasting in the area which will be free of corkage charge, no dogs without leashes, no glass, no diving, no horseplay. the vibe at boon is super chill and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the shared space equally.

non-smoking property

boon is a non-smoking property. you can smoke at the designated area in our parking lot but not on premises, including vaping, e-cigarettes, cannabis, hookah, cigars, etc. a fee will be charged for any noticeable odor or visible smoke seen anywhere on the property. please respect our request and our environment.

pool + hot tub use

only guests who are staying at the hotel may enjoy the facilities at boon. we do not have day passes just for pool + hot tub use.

heating + air conditioning

all rooms now have air conditioning, yay! there also is heat in the rooms and most rooms have a seasonal fireplace for ambiance and warmth.
*please help us keep our equipment operational by leaving the remote to the a/c unit secured to the wall. there is a minimum $250.00 fee for damaged or missing remotes.

parking

onsite parking is available complimentary. we do not have electric vehicle charging stations at this time but there are some located close-by in downtown Guerneville.

check in/checkout

check-in time is 3pm. checkout time is 11am. early arrivals and late departures must be prearranged and are subject to availability.

in-room amenities

all of our rooms have a mini fridge*, stemmed wine glasses, GoVino wine glasses for poolside sipping, water glasses, boon wine key, cutting board, cheese knife, hair dryer, bike lock, cotton swabs + cotton balls, ear plugs and luggage rack. we can provide an iron, ironing board, extra towels, pillows, any toiletries you left behind, etc upon request. we have record players + vintage vinyl in lieu of televisions.

off the grid

please be aware that cell reception can be little to none in guerneville, depending upon your carrier. we do have wifi throughout the property but video calls have been shown to be spotty during high usage times. please plan meetings accordingly.
